48 hours in the streets, in Greece, 48 hours general strike, massive
participation, apalling police brutality and infiltration of
agents-provocateurs.

THE STRUGGLE IN GREECE IS CONTINUING

Massive crowds in Athens and other cities battled for two days against the
so called medium-term programme of austerity and cuts, tried to block the
entrance of members of Parliament inside parliament, surrounded the
parliament in Athens and demonstrated in other cities. Unfortunately the
programme did pass, with 155 out of 300 MPs, with no other party apart for
ruling PASOK voting in favour. It is a plan of bankruptcy for the popular
masses and the working class, this is why there was so big and decisive
opposition.

WE ARE NOT LEAVING THE SQUARE BEFORE YOU LEAVE, this is the slogan of the
square, the slogan of the indignant, from the beginning, this in why the
struggle is going to continue in the coming days, the new appointment in
tonight at 6 in the square, as well as a call for massive demonstration on
the part of the trade unions of the state sector.

Lots of arrests and many wounded, as well as more than 600 people suffering
from respiratory problems, due to the extensive use of tear gas everywhere
in Athens, which was turned into gas-chamber.

The people of the social forum of course are present, the people of the left
are present, the young generation struggling for real-democracy, direct
democracy, is there.

The movement of the "indignant" is like a modern version of the social
forum, certainly a big hope for the future in Greece and all over Europe.
