  Dear Michel, dear French friends,

I do not know the word you used - "not possible". Everything is possible
if you really want it.
When our Turkish comrades completely failed to support the travel costs
of participants from Central and Eastern Europe to Istanbul with a
single euro, Leo Gabriel showed us all that it is possble to find the
appropriate resources for ONE HUNDRED activists in THREE DAYS (thanks
once more to transform! Europe, Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, World Social
Forum and deputies of GUE/NGL and Die Linke/Germany). There are just
some 12 people from our region wanting to come to the meeting in Paris.
Piotr Kawiorski now organizes the biggest Polish event by now - the
First Polish Social Forum in Warsaw on 5 - 7 November (you made him to
shift the date from the original one which collided with your event in
Paris). Are 300 euros really such a big problem?
We have been hoping that big social movements and strong trade unions
would understand the importance of a really pan-European people's
(popular) movement. Is it not the case?

In solidarity,

Mirek Prokes,
Czech Social Forum
