On 16th October in the case concerning breaking the worker's laws (unlawful
redundancy) brought to the court by two former workers of KK WZZ "Sierpień
80" and handled in a District Court for Katowice West, the defendant KK WZZ
"Sierpień 80" was found guilty.

The plaintiff was awarded compensation. As a major aggravating circumstance
the Court gave the fact of a gross breaking of a Labour Code which was made
by an organization whose statutory aim is to protect workers' rights not
break them. The defendant's representative did not show in the court. The
sentence is not yet final and binding.
