Meeting in Istambul, the 21th of novembre 2008

10 persons attend the meeting, coming from Spain, Turkey, France, Belgium,
Walles, Sweden)

1- Evaluation of the ESF in Malmoë
Despite critisism on organisation, it seems that, on the point of view of the
network, the work done is quite good.
- we had notice a dynamic from the groups figthing against privatisations of
publics services in Europe;
- the neccesity to build alternative is shared
Now, the network wants to work with other networks on the global crises, and
reinforce its alliances on climate change issues.

Proposition : to write a analysis on finance crisis, in relation with other
networks, to build a common analysis on renationalisation of publics services
and the independance of central bank.

Moreover, the network is co-invinte a crossnetwork meeting about the crisis,
witch going to be held in Paris, the 10 and 11th of january on golbal crisis.

2- The network will be present in the WSF in Belem.
The network will participate in counter-summit on water issue in Istambul, march
2009

3- About the initiative decided at the ASM in Malmö, the network ask the social
movement in Belgium (TU and Social Froum of Begium) to set a working group and
to call for a first meeting of preparation as soon as possible
