[fse-esf] Proposal on activist research about social movements

Dear all,

We are thinking of proposing a workshop at the Malmo ESF on activist
research about social movements and for this purpose we have started
an online project at the OpenESF space called Research Node ESF 2008:
<http://openesf.net/projects/research-node-esf-2008/project-home>. Our
main ideas are around:

+ Research on social movements from an activist perspective
+ Politics of knowledge, ignorance and risk and alternative approaches
+ Potentialities/drawbacks opened up by new technologies
+ Dialog among researchers, activists and activist researchers

We are wondering whether we could merge in a common stream with other
groups having similar interests.
