Hello,
Attac France is opposed to this event as it seems to be planed now : we do not
think that one person could speak on one axe as if this person could naturally
be seen as the incarnation of all ideas whitch could be developped on this axe
; more over,we do not think that it could be a good idea to have something like
10 speakers, as the EAP has decieded yet not to avoid this kind of long and
boring interventions.
So, we do not support this idea as it is now.
All the best,
Frédéric Viale
on behalf of Attac France

Subject: [fse-esf] ESF inauguration, demo and party speakers
Speakers at the ESF inauguration, demonstration and party.
The European Contact group and the program group have been given the task by
NOC board to propose speakers for the inauguration, demonstration and party
according to a structure set up by the cultural group. In addition to the
speakers there will be video presentation from differents activist with
messages and cultural activities at the inauguration at the evening of 17th
of September and of course also during the demonstration and party on
Saturday the 20th of September.
In the European Contact Group we see it as importnt that the speakers
represents all of Europe and new groups participating. Thus we have together
with the program group set up criteria for the choice of speakers inspired
by the EPA decisions regarding prioritised groups, the statutes of NOC and
some other documents. The structure of the speaches will be according to the
theme structure at ESF. There will be 9 speakers at the inauguration, 6 at
the demo and 3 at the party. In addition to this there will be 2-3 people
