[fse-esf] New Information on International Afghanistan Conference Hannover 7.-8. June 2008

Dear friends,

We like to inform you, that the preparations for the International Afghanistan Conference taking place in Hannover 7./8. June are proceeding well. We have now fixed the schedule. We are happy to be able to present many experts to you, among them speakers from 8 countries.
In the centre of the conference is the situation in Afghanistan, the background of war and occupation and the question of alternatives to war and occupation.
The conference is organised by the german peace movement to back up our campaign against the prolonging of the Afghanistan-mandate of the german Bundeswehr in autumn.
It is organised with a strong comittment to strenghten the international movement against the war in Afghanistan and to develop a network of antiwar-groups fighting Afghanistan-war internationally.

Please note: 
We will organise an international meeting on friday, 6.6. at 8 pm. On saturday, 7.6. there will be an meeting to dicuss activities on the NATO-Anniversary-Summit in Strasbourg/Kehl in May 2009 (invitation see attachment) and plenty other opportunities to meet and network.
