Facebook.com mobilisation for ESF
The number of persons that have responded to the question if they will
attend ESF i Malmö is growing each day. 10.2, there is 775 saying they will
attend and 1 180 saying maybe. Most people are from the Nordic countries,
Among the maybe people there is a fairly equal share from each Denmark,
Finland, Norway and Sweden according to number of inhabitants. Among those
stating they will attend half of them come from Swedish so far.
The statistics among those that will attend is the following 10.2 (some 10%
is impossible to find out what country they come from):
Sweden 383
Norway 97
Finland 71
Denmark 66
Finland and Norway is far away from Malmö as much of Sweden while Denmark is
30 minutes with the train. Lets hope Danes start to wake up mobilising for
ESF-5 and that the rest of Europe is as willing as Finland and Norway to
travel far and mobilise soon.
Other as close neighbouring countries as Finland and Norway (All of Germany
is closer to Malmö than it is from Malmö to Helsinki, the capital of
Finland. Berlin is a lot closer to Malmö than Stockholm and Amsterdam is
almost as close to Malmö as Stockholm):
Germany 5
Poland 0
Estonia 0
Latvia 0
Lithuania 0
Netherlands 3
Belgium 6
Countries half far away, as far as from Northern Sweden and Norway to Malmö
(the Northernmost participant so far comes from Tromsö university in Norway,
which is as far away as Barcelona from Malmö):
Czech republic 0
Slovakia 1
Russia 0
Hungary 0
