Last call: Speakers at inauguration, demo and party

Much have been solved and confirmed concerning speakers at inauguration,
demo and party. Thanks to Italian suggestions, German agreement and a
Swedish host we now have both a Palestinian and Israeli peace movement
speaker at the inauguration confirmed. But there remains some slots were we
do not get any answer from the organisations or country that have made the
proposal.

That is especially from Greece who should appoint a student and ESF
activists and Italy who should appoint a anti-war activist from Vicenza. We
also lack the name on the two different Turkish trade union representatives
supposed to speak at the party on Saturday and together with WSF end the
closing session on Sunday together with WSF. So please can anyone from these
countries tell us what to write in the program paper, we need the
information today.

There are some other problems, mostly concerning persons in Malmö and
Copenhagen were final confirmation is not settled but this can be solved.
The biggest changes is that the mayor Ilmar Reepalu cannot participate,
instead we will probably have the mayor responsible for democracy welcoming
the guests. Wahu Kaara from Kenya anti-debt movement could not come and will
be replaced by Margarita Teran from Bolivia or Blanca Chancosa from Ecuador,
both indigenous leaders from movements struggling against neoliberalism and
500 years of occupation. We do not get answer either from a young activist i
Slovenia but have similar alternatives from West Balkan if necessary.
