  Dear Friends,

  One of the most popular Hungarian newspaper Nepszabadsag yesterday published an article about the declaration of ESU participants on xenophobia, racism, neofascism, extreme right. 

  The declaration states that "Hungary's democracy is threatened by the growth of extreme-wright wing forces resembling the old drastic remedies of racism, neofascism and anti-Semitism as cures for dismantling social systems. These worrying developments are typical not only for Central and Eastern European (CEE) region, but in Western EWurope, too."

  In the article it has beeen mentioned that the almost 1,000 participants of ESU dealt also with the present and the future of Europe. The participants have analized the role of Europe in the global arena, the linkages betwen the continent and other regions of the world as well as discussed  about the situation of the social systems. 

  By this e-mail we wish to call other organisations to build broad alliances against the antidemocratic, antihuman, antisocial tendencies and practices of neofascism. 

  Hoping at the next ESFin Malmö/Sweden the antiracist, antifascist organisations and progressive groups can join forces and build  up a broad alliance( network) against xenophobia, racism, neo-Nazism and extreme-right.
