[fse-esf] Invitation EPA in Kyiv

     Dear all!

     We would like to inform you that the meeting of the European
Preparatory Assembly (EPA) on preparation of the 5th European Social
Forum (ESF) will held 6-8 June 2008 in the Trade Union House in Kyiv
(Maidan Nezalezhnosti, 2). The Forum is scheduled for 17-21 September
of the current year in Malme, Sweden.
     The EPA meeting in Kyiv is considered as an important instrument
of promotion of activity of social movements, trade union and public
organizations of anti-neoliberal orientation. The initiative  to
organise the EPA  in Kyiv, and also promotion of participation of
Ukrainian organisations in the ESF are supported by the Federation of
Trade Unions of Ukraine and Ombudsman of Ukraine.
     The first meeting of the EPA Organizing Committee held on 5 March 2008.
     In addition, within the framework of the EPA in Kyiv a march of
the EPA participants will be held in support of ratification by
Ukraine of the ILO Convention  on migrant workers.
     We are pleased to invite the representatives of your
organizations to participate in the European Preparatory Assembly.
    We also ask you to inform us what type of accommodation  you
prefer: hotel, hostel (cheaper) or free in accommodation the flats of
our activists?
