Dear all!
We have been overwhelmed with requests for solidarity accomodation,
many many more than usual at the EPAs (i dont think it's usual for
half the registered pariticpants to ask for solidarity accomodation),
so we would very much apprechiate if you first book the rooms we have
pre-reserved for you which are all listed on the website
www.esf2008.org. There should still be beds available. We booked this
just because we knew about the conference and warned about it on the
list in july, and asked people to book early.

If you cannot find accomodation in any of these places, please see
Lisas info about couch-surfing, sent to the list a while ago:

Participate in Creating a Better World, One Couch at a Time!

If you are looking for solidarity accommodation when you travel
abroad, you must take a look at "Couchsurfing", a fora for people
around the world who want to open their homes for each other.

>From the website http://www.couchsurfing.com/:

"CouchSurfing seeks to internationally network people and places,
create educational exchanges, raise collective consciousness, spread
tolerance and facilitate cultural understanding. As a community we
strive to do our individual and collective parts to make the world a
better place, and we believe that the surfing of couches is a means to
accomplish this goal. CouchSurfing is not about the furniture, not
just about finding free accommodations around the world; it's about
making connections worldwide. We make the world a better place by
opening our homes, our hearts, and our lives. We open our minds and
welcome the knowledge that cultural exchange makes available. We
create deep and meaningful connections that cross oceans, continents
and cultures. CouchSurfing wants to change not only the way we travel,
but how we relate to the world!

Have a look at the website www.couchsurfing.com and sign up. It´s easy
and totaly free!

In solidarity,
Sara Andersson
