I N V I T A T I O N

to the Conference

 

The values of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 helping  the building up of a more just and more human social order

 

 

To be held in Budapest on 27th October 2007 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Institute of Political History (Budapest, V. Alkotmány u. 2.) on initiative of the Hungarian Social Forum in co-operation with the Foundation of Reform Circles of the Hungarian Socialist Party

 

The aim of the conference is to contribute to the collective planning ofa more just social model we want to build. At the same time to contribute to the strenghtening of the Democratic Left in Hungary and in whole Europe by precising our relation with this historical event.

 

The conference is sponsored by Mr. Imre Szekeres, vice president of the Hungarian Socialist Party

 

Our Lecturers are: 

                                        Mr. Balázs Nagy, dirigent of the Petőfi Circle in â01956

                                        Mr. Stefan Sjöberg of the Swedish Left Party

 

Our Requested Speakers are: Mr. András Rózsa economist, Mr. József Sipos historian, Lajos Mátyás Szabó politologue, Gáspár Miklós Tamás philosopher

                                        

 

Moderator: József Alajos Géczi, member of the Hungarian National Assembly

 

Speach of closure: Endre Simó, organizer of the Hungarian Social Forum

 

A free debate will follow the presentations in the frame of the aim of the conference.

 

 

The meeting is open to the press.
