I do not know WHO, WHEN and HOW decided that on this list are only accepted announcements for the preparation of next ESF. This used to be for years a list for the information of actions and proposals of the movements participating in the process of ESF and of course of the social movements process of ESf. It helps activists and other participants to form a better view for the coming ESF and to take action sometimes urgent to support resistance all around the world.
Especially, in Europe NOT to discuss about Pakistan and the declaration of martial law is a very strange attitude since we are all together to resist Europe's responsibility in supporting wars and dictatorships around the World. And also can you forget that million of Pakistani immigrants because of colonialism, imperialism, dictatorship and poverty are now in Europe.
I do not know WHO is behind this email but I am sure that if he sent other email's like that to "Mr Callinicos" he or she has to know that he or she represents only himself or herself.
Further I urge activists to support resistance against Musharaf in Pakistan by lawyers, students and demand that all activists who demonstrated against martial law and were captured and tortured by police should be released immediately
