[fse-esf] Hungarian Social Forum Network came into existence

Dear Friends,

Informing you that a Hungarian Social Forum Network as an integral part of the World- the European and the Hungarian Social Forums was established by 26 civil organisations in Budapest on 9th June 2007. 

At the meeting entitled "Defend yourself against neoliberalism and extreme right" about 80 participants attended and several contributions were made. Among others Gunter RATH of ATTAC Stuttgart spoke about the anti-G8 alternative summit, Tamas KRAUSZ of  Leftist Alternative Association called for strenghtening the social self-defence and Tibor VARADY of Humanist Movement informed us about a European-wide peace campaign and urged to form a broad unity against the wars and the nuclear armaments. In a written contribution, Gaspar Miklos TAMAS (Vice President of Attac Hungary) demanded to establish a third political force in Hungary.
