... Malmö, Sweden!
This was the final result of the consultations on both sides of the
Öresund, made by the teams in Denmark and Sweden.  We have also set a
date for the ESF in Malmö; 18-21 September 2008. So you can go ahead
and book your tickets now...

We are particularly happy with this decision since we think the venue
in Malmö will enable us to organise an open and inclusive forum with
great visibility for the local people, as well as many contacts
between locals and participants of the ESF. Since Malmö is a rather
small city with about 300 000 inhabitants, the forum will really make
an impact and hopefully with your help we can create an atmosphere
similar to that of the Florence-forum.

Now we are moving along together to form a strong Scandinavian
alliance to organise a successful forum in 2008. During the EPA in
Stockholm in september, we will present a more detailed plan on how we
see the process evolving from now on.
