Against the G8 Summit in June 2007
Precarious of every country, let’s march to Heiligendamm near Rostock!
Against the precarisation of our lives and our jobs!
Against Unemployment, poverty, misery, exclusion and discrimination!
For equal social rights for everybody, everywhere!


The more wealth  is produced in Europe the more the number of people
living in precarity increases. Now we’ve had more than three decades of
mass long term unemployment which is now a fact of daily life for
millions of men and women.
In the year 2000 at Lisbon, the European Union promised a paradise for
2010. In fact not only has unemployment not gone down (the official
figures now only take into account a small proportion of the actual
number of unemployed) but the  number of precarious and underpaid jobs
have exploded, notably for the young, for women, for immigrants and
particularly the undocumented (sans papiers). To the ‘official’
unemployed should be added the working poor in towns and in the
countryside, those who are more and more numerous working in the
informal sector, those on miserable social benefits, the young people
who have no benefits entitlements at all, the homeless and more and more
retired people.
This social destruction has been generating poverty and misery at the
same time as the dividends of shareholders are reaching record levels.
Social injustice has never been as hard. No-one should be lacking in the
necessities to live. There is enough wealth for everyone!


The G8 are illegitimate!

As every year, the closed « club » of the G8 which brings together the
leaders of the seven wealthiest countries as well as Russia, will meet
to decide the future of the planet. These « masters of the world »will
be meeting in Heiligendamm, a rich seaside resort near Rostock in one of
the poorest regions of Northern Germany, from the 6th to the 8th of June.
The G8 at this time is as illegitimate as it could be.
It’s during these « informal summits » that the 8 most powerful
countries on the planet drive forward the neo liberal politics which
concern the way wealth is shared, the casualisation of employment and
the life conditions which favor the logic of predatory wars and the
destruction of the environment.


The German government which is welcoming the G8 in June is also ending
its presidency of the European Union. In taking the role of host to the
G8, it wants to relaunch the constitutional process rejected by the
French and the Dutch. The total deregulation of public services like
those previewed by the Bolkestein directive would be incorporated into
the constitutional treaty as well as rearmament which would become a
constitutional obligation for the member states.



 From everywhere in Europe, let’s march together to Heiligendamm for the
equality of social rights everywhere

Against all forms of the precarisation of our lives and our jobs there
is but one solution: equality of rights for everyone, the right to an
income which allows one to live, the right to  employment and to
training, the right to land, the right to housing, the right to healthy
food, the right to free, good quality health care, the right of freedom
of movement and settlement, the right to papers, the rights to access
culture, and to the public services guaranteeing those rights.
To express with strength these requirements, the marches will be leaving
in the middle of May from the four corners of Europe, to converge in
Germany on the weekend of the 26th -the 27th of May 2007; they will then
join up with the of German Groups to arrive in Rostock on the 1st of
June to participate in the big demonstration at the opening of the G8 on
the 2nd of June, and in the counter summit from the 3rd of June.
There will be an assembly of the precarious where the precarious and
have-nots will gather...

Europäische Märsche gegen den G8-Gipfel im Juni 2007

Prekarisierte aller Länder,
auf nach Heiligendamm/Rostock!

Gegen die Prekarisierung von Leben und Arbeit
Gegen Erwerbslosigkeit, Armut, Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung
Gleiche soziale Rechte für alle überall!

Je mehr Reichtum die Menschen in Europa erarbeiten, desto mehr leben und
arbeiten sie in ungesicherten Verhältnissen. Seit über drei Jahrzehnten
haben Millionen Frauen und Männer unter Massen- und
Langzeitarbeitslosigkeit
zu leiden. Im März 2000 versprach die EU in Lissabon die Überwindung
dieses Zustands bis zum Jahr 2010. Tatsächlich ist die Zahl der
Erwerbslosen nicht zurückgegangen – die offiziellen Zahlen
berücksichtigen nur einen Teil derer,
die tatsächlich Arbeit suchen. Dafür ist der Anteil der befristeten,
unterbezahlten oder tariflich nicht abgesicherten
Beschäftigung explodiert – vor allem für Jugendliche, Ältere, Frauen,
MigrantInnen, insbesondere solche ohne
Papiere. Zu den offiziell Erwerbslosen kommen die arbeitenden Armen
hinzu, die im informellen Sektor Tätigen,
die Sozialhilfebeziehenden, die in die Selbstständigkeit Gedrängten, die
wachsende Zahl von Wohnungslosen und
mehr und mehr auch die Rentnerinnen und Rentner. Die Zerschlagung des
Sozialstaats schafft Armut und Elend,
während die Profite der Aktionäre und Großunternehmer in den Himmel
steigen. Nie war das soziale Unrecht so
groß. Dabei müsste niemand Not leiden, es ist genug für alle da.

Die G8 sind illegitim!

In jedem Jahr treffen sich im Juni die Staats- und Regierungschefs der
sieben reichsten Länder der Welt (plus Russland) – diesmal in einem
noblen Kurbad mitten in der ärmsten Region Deutschlands. Ihre Treffen
sind völlig informell und sie müssen niemandem Rechenschaft darüber
ablegen, aber sie treffen Verabredungen, die sich auf Milliarden von
Menschen auswirken: auf die Verteilung des Reichtums, die Privatisierung
öffentlicher Güter und Dienstleistungen, den Zugriff auf natürliche
Ressourcen, die Vorbereitung von Kriegen, die weitere Zerstörung der
Umwelt.

Die Bundesregierung ist nicht nur Gastgeberin für die G8, sie beendet im
Juni auch die Ratspräsidentschaft der EU.
Gestützt auf diese Doppelrolle will sie die EU-Verfassung, die durch das
französische und niederländische Nein gestoppt worden war, neu beleben.
Das würde bedeuten, dass die vollständige Deregulierung des
Dienstleistungssektors, wie sie die EU-Richtlinie vorsieht,
Verfassungsrang erhält; ebenso würde militärische Aufrüstung zu einer
Verfassungspflicht für alle Mitgliedstaaten!

Gegen die zunehmende Verarmung und Unsicherheit unserer
Lebensbedingungen gibt es nur eine Lösung: Gleiche
soziale Rechte für alle überall! Deshalb fordern wir:

– das Recht auf ein Einkommen zum Auskommen
– das Recht auf Bildung und auf sinnvolle existenzsichernde Arbeit
– das Recht auf eine bezahlbare Wohnung
– das Recht auf gesunde Ernährung und auf eine kostenlose und
hochwertige Gesundheitsversorgung
– das Recht auf Freizügigkeit, auf Niederlassung und ein Bleiberecht
– Schutz gegen kulturelle Ausgrenzung
– öffentliche Dienste, die solche Rechte verwirklichen
– Schluss mit der Privatisierung!
– Schluss mit den kolonialen Kriegen und Raubzügen in der sog. Dritten
Welt!
Aus verschiedenen Teilen Europas setzen sich Mitte Mai Menschen in
Märschen in Bewegung. Sie treffen am
Wochenende vom 26./27. Mai an verschiedenen Grenzorten in Deutschland
ein und ziehen von da aus nach Rostock.
Dort nehmen sie am 2. Juni an der Großdemonstration und anschließend am
Alternativgipfel teil. In dessen Rahmen
findet am 3. Juni eine Versammlung des europäischen Netzwerks gegen
Prekarisierung statt.

Contre le sommet du G8 en juin 2007
Précaires de tous les pays, marchons vers Heiligendamm, près de Rostock!

Contre la précarisation de nos vies et de nos  emplois !
Contre le chômage, la pauvreté, la misère, les exclusions, les
discriminations !
Pour l´égalité des droits sociaux pour  toutes et tous, partout !

Plus de richesses sont produites en Europe  et plus le nombre de
précaires augmente. Voilà plus de trois décennies que le chômage de
masse et de longue durée est le fait quotidien de dizaines de millions
d´hommes et de femmes. En 2000 à Lisbonne, l´Union européenne avait
promis le paradis pour 2010. En fait, non seulement le chômage n´a pas
reculé (les chiffres officiels ne comptabilisent qu´une partie des
chômeurs réels) mais par contre les emplois précaires et sous-payés ont
explosé, notamment pour les jeunes, les femmes, les immigres,
particulièrement les sans-papiers. Aux chômeuses et chômeurs
« officiels » s´ajoutent les travailleuses et travailleurs pauvres dans
les villes et dans les campagnes,  celles et ceux de plus en plus
nombreux des secteurs informels,  les allocataires des seuls mimima
sociaux, les jeunes qui n´y ont pas droit, les SDF et de plus en plus de
retraité(e)s. La casse sociale généralisée a généré pauvreté et misère
au moment même où les profits des actionnaires atteignent des sommets,
l´injustice sociale n´a jamais été aussi forte. Personne ne doit
manquer de quoi vivre ! Il y a assez pour toutes et tous !

Les « G8 » sont illégitimes !

Comme chaque année, le « club » très fermé du G8 qui regroupe les
dirigeants des 7 pays les plus riches, plus la Russie, va se réunir pour
décider du sort de la planète. Les « maîtres du monde » se retrouveront
du 6 au 8 juin 2007 à Heiligendamm, riche station balnéaire près de
Rostock, dans la région la plus pauvre du Nord de l´Allemagne. Le G8 est
l´instance la plus illégitime qui soit. C´est pourtant lors de ces
« sommets informels » que les 8 pays les plus puissants de la planète
impulsent les politiques néo-libérales qui concernent le partage  des
richesses, précarisent l´emploi et les conditions de vie et favorisent
les logiques guerrières et prédatrices et la destruction de l´environnement.

Le gouvernement allemand qui accueille ce G8 en juin termine également
sa présidence de l´Union européenne. En prenant appui sur le G8 et sur
son rôle d´hôte, il veut relancer de projet de Traité constitutionnel
européen rejeté par les Français et les Néerlandais. La totale
dérégulation des services publics telle que le prévoit la directive
Bolkestein deviendrait de ce fait partie prenante du Traité
constitutionnel européen et le réarmement une obligation
constitutionnelle pour les états membres.

De toute l´Europe, marchons  vers Heiligendamm pour l´égalité des droits
sociaux partout

Contre toutes les formes de précarisation de nos vies et de nos emplois,
une seule solution : l´égalité des droits pour toutes et tous : le droit
à un revenu qui permette de vivre, le droit à un emploi et à  la
formation,le droit à la terre, le droit à un logement, le droit à une
nourriture saine, le droit à la santé gratuite et de qualité, le droit
de circulation et d´installation, le droit à des papiers, le droit à la
culture, des services publics garantissant ces droits.

Pour exprimer avec forces ces exigences, des Marches partiront à la
mi-mai des quatre coins de l´Europe, convergeront en Allemagne le
week-end des 26 et 27 mai 2007 pour rejoindre les « marches-relais » de
groupes allemands et arriver à Rostock le 1er juin, et participeront  à
  la grande manifestation d´ouverture du 2 juin, , et au  contre-sommet
  à partir du 3 juin pendant lequel l´Assemblée des précaires et des
sans se réunira.

Contre la précarisation, solidarité internationale !
Pour une autre Europe! Pour un autre monde !
