Dear friends, on the 13th of April, there will be the trial of the
imprisoned journalists labor unionists and social activists in Turkey,
Istanbul. The Turkish regime is repressing democratic rights, while
imprisoning and judging proggressive, democratic and revolutionary sectors.
They even shoot intelectuals, as in the case of our valuable martyr Hrant
Dink.
The below text is a declaration of the intelectuals, writers and journalists
here for the imprisoned journalists. Let us circulate the below text in
order to receive further signatures of intelectuals, journalists, artists
and social-political organizations...
WITH SOLIDARITY,
ALP ALTINORS
EDITOR OF NEWSPAPER ATILIM,
ISTANBUL-TURKEY.
