2nd Invitation

The next European Preparatory Assembly (EPA) of the European Social Forum will take place in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. 

 

After the exiting days of the 4th ESF in Athens this meeting will give us the opportunity to rethink and evaluate the event. We have to discuss the future of the movement, the venue of the 5th ESF and how to organize it. 

 

Facing new wars and threats, being confronted with harmful attacks on social and democratic rights we have to think about more effective strategies of the movement. 

 

The venue of the EPA has changed and is now 

the building of the German Metal Workers Union

The date oft he EPA will be Saturday Nov 4th from 09.00 h to Sunday 5th until 

14.00 h. 

 

The date of the Networking period 

is Friday Nov 3rd from 09.00 h to 18.00 h. 

 

The venue of the networking period

is the local trade union building

Practical advices: 

 

Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French, and German.

 

The participation fee for organizations and initiatives will be € 50, 00, for individuals 

€ 10, 00. Please have in mind that this payment has to cover the support for our friends from eastern countries. The part of reimbursement of travel costs will depend on the volume of the solidarity payment. Don’t rely on complete reimbursement. 

 

We will organize home stay accommodation only on immediate and personal request!  A list of cheap hotels
