Dear friends,
                    We are just after a significant electoral success
of a coalition of antiwar activists, enviromentalists, tradeunionists,
left militants who participated in elections for municipalities and
prefectures.
In Athens-Pireus prefecture the coalition got 1,33% and 19.857 votes
and in Salonica the coalition Ecology-Solidarity got 4,67% and 25632
votes. 
Also, we are in a period after the unjustifiable stop of the heroic 6
weeks strike of teachers by their tradeunion leaders and on the same
time 1000 high schools and more than 30 universities are occupied.
This weekend we are combining participation in the mobilization
against climate change on Saturday 4/11 with an assembly (
rally+festival) on Sunday  5th of November of all the activists who
organized the successful participation in elections.
This is the moment to exchange experience and to decide the campaigns
of the activists involved in this initiative.
I will not be able to participate in the preparatory assembly and I
hope with a lot of you we can meet for the G8 meeting in Rostock.
