Fw: [fse-esf] Proposals for speakers of big events Athens ESF

To my sure and certain knowledge Walden Bello (who I have a good deal of
time for) has been a 'recognizable personality' and 'key' speaker at every
ESF since Florence...

Firstly, even if you insist that it's vital that all such speakers be
'recognizable personalities' why do they have to be the same bloody people
every ESF? Is it beyond the bounds of possibility that there are other such
people who might have something interesting to say but from a different
point-of-view?

Secondly, by insisting on having 'recognizable personalities' who are
exactly the same each ESF what you're really doing is narrowing the range of
views that will be heard and limiting participation - and who the hell are
you aiming these 'recognizables at anyway? Have you got some kind of a book
deal going with Walden Bello?
