Dear comrades and friends,
we send you greetings of solidarity for your protest against George W. Bushes visit to Hungary on June 22nd.
The US administration is bringing destruction to the world and to its own citizen.
The occupation of Irak, the planned attack against Iran, the disrespect of human rights, the ignorance of climate change and the spreading of neoliberalism all over the world are good reasons to protest against the front figure of US hegemony.
US is one superpower, but the gobal movement is the second superpower.
Resistance all over the world as brought them in defensive and has prevented further wars so far.
This is why the german peace-movement is also protesting when Bush will meet the German chancellor Angela Merkel on his way to the G8 summit in St. Petersburg.
Merkel invited Bush on their last meeting in the US. One of the issues they will talk about will be Iran.
Merkel openly wants to bring Germany back on the side of the US-administration. And Bush will need that, because many of his european allies - like Berlusconi or Aznar - have gone, others - like Blair - are weak.
We are demanding Bush and Merkel to stop all wars and the planning of new wars.
We wish you all the best for your demonstration.
On our demonstration against Bush on July 14th we will tell the protesters about your efforts. This demonstration will be the first warming up for the big G8-proteste next June, when Bush and the rest of the G8-bunch of robbers are coming to Heiligendamm, that is only 100 kilometers away from Stralsund.
All the best,
steering comitee of the Alliance against the Bush-visit in Stralsund
