Dear comrades an friends,
on his way to St. Petersburg George Bush will meet Angela Merkel on 14.7. in Stralsund, Germany.
Merkel invited Bush on their last meeting in the US. One of the issues they will talk about will be Iran.
Schroeders "anti-war" attitude always was more than half hearted, Merkel openly wants to bring Germany back on the side of the US-administration. And Bush will need that, because many of his european allies - like Berlusconi or Aznar - have gone, others - like Blair - are weak.
We are demanding Bush and Merkel to stop all wars and the planning of new wars.
A broad coalition of forces is planning to protest on 14.7. in Stralsund - Merkels home town in north-east Germany - where Bush is expected. We will continue our protest on 15.7. in solidarity with the G8-Protest in Russia.
We invite you to participate in the protest or to send a message of greetings to the protesters.
This demonstration will be the first warming up for the big G8-proteste next June, when Bush and the rest of the G8-bunch of robbers are coming to Heiligendamm, that is only 100 kilometers away from Stralsund.
All the best,
Christine Buchholz
