[fse-esf] call for international action on Lebanon and Palestine Saturday 5 August

FROM THE PALESTINE SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN, BRITAIN

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Britain, with the Stop the War Coalition, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, and the British Muslim Initiative are calling a demonstration on Saturday 5 August in central London.

With the horrifying attacks on Lebanon and Palestine by the Israeli army continuing, the demonstration will be demanding an immediate unconditional ceasefire.

The international community needs to send a loud and clear message that Israel's war against the Lebanese and the Palestinian people must end.

Across the world, actions have been taking place over the last few weeks, and international coordination on a specific day will increase the impact of all of our individual actions.

We are therefore issuing a call to all Palestinian solidarity organisations to work with peace and anti-war groups to protest across the world on 5 August and call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.
