HANDS OF LEBANON. FREEDOM FOR PALESTINE - Israeli Embassy in Warsaw

Over 300 people attended a picket of the Israeli Embassy in Warsaw on 
Saturday July 22.
The picket was called at very short notice by the Stop the War 
Initiative and was bigger than expected.  Lebanese, Palestinians and 
other Arabs living in Poland as well as many mainly young Poles united 
in branding Israel a terrorist state, called for solidarity with the 
Lebanese and Palestinian people and an end to Poland's servile policy 
towards the United States and its Israeli ally. Polish-Lebanese families 
who had been forced to flee Lebanon  and had just arrived in Warsaw 
backed the picket just hours before it was due to take place. One woman 
gave a shocking eye witness account of the devastation she had 
witnessed. The pickets will continue every week.
