Dear friends,

The struggle continues against the martial law regime in Pakistan and  
it deserve our solidarity. Various solidarity initiatives have been  
taken. From ESSF, here are three links:



1. FOR INFORMATION:

We are trying to offer through our website a wide range of  
information, news, and analysis. See:

2. INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY CALLS

The solidarity call was originally initiated last May, after the  
first wave of arrests. It has been updated after the imposiiton of  
the state of emergency. Many of you signed already. There are  
presently 490 signatures.

- You can send NEW signatures to my (Pierre Rousset) email address or  
to ESSF contact address.
- The list of signatures can be used to back various solidarity  
actions (delegation to the embassies, publicztions, etc.). Fell free  
to use it!


3. CALL FOR FINANCIAL HELP

The LPP has issued a call for financial support to the struggle  
against the martial law and the defense of political prisoners. ESSF  
is endorsing this call.

SOLIDARITE PAKISTAN:

La lutte se poursuit dans difficiles conditions au Pakistan contre le  
régime de loi martiale. Elle a besoin de notre solidarité. Diverses  
initiatives de solidarité ont été prises. Voic, en particulier,i  
trois liens solidaires sur le site d'ESSF:



1. POUR L'INFORMATION:

Le site d'ESSF essaie de fournir une information et des éléments  
d'analyses aussi complets que possible. Voir les rubriques:

2. L'APPEL INTERNATIONAL DE SOLIDARITE

Dès mai dernier, après la première vague d'arrestation, un appel  
international avait été lancé. Il a été mis à jour après l'imposition  
de l'état d'urgence. Il comprend actuellement 490 signatures.

- Les NOUVELLES signatures peuvent être envoyées à mon adresse email  
(Pierre Rousset) ou à l'adresse de contact d'ESSF.
- Vous pouvez utiliser cette liste de signataires pour appuyer des  
initiatives de solidarité (délégation aux embassades, déclarations...).



3. APPEL A LA SOLIDARITE FINANCIERE:

Le LPP a lancé un appel à la soidarité financière pour la lutte  
contre la loi martiale et en défense des prisonniers politiques. ESSF  
a fait sienne cet appel.
